  From what I understand, the amount is based on the cost of a metro card (at least it is in NYC) which is about $120.

  Interesting story TERRY.

  My John DeLorean story is that he used to live about 15 minutes from where I grew up! (about 25 minutes from where I now live).

  As a kid, I remember seeing a parking lot FULL of brand new DeLoreans as my parents drove by it on one of the major interstates in the area. My dad had pointed it out to us kids.

  so ofs got to comment again this morning and thought the comment might bring a smile to someone.the second half question on par.

  15 was, "we cannot actually see jesus, sohow can we look intently at him?".

  ofs commented, "of course, we cannot literally see jesus as peter did.

  during a prayer in the kh all our eyes are supposed to be closed, right?

  i've never been one to fully my eyes during prayers.

  i'll close them down, but just enough that i can still peep around at what's happening without being noticed.. there's something i've noticed a certain elder doing for the second time now.

  the more specific the better :) here are mine:.

  i predict that within the next two to three years (2017-2018) we will start seeing negative numbers in growth.. i predict that within the next thirteen to fifteen years (2027-2030) the number of jws will be less than 4million.. and i predict that by the time the first person sets foot on mars there will already have been a major split in the organization with either one of the gb or a branch overseer starting a new religion..

  Told a JW about ARC in August, finally got a reply - Return to Jehovah booklet!!

  so i've mentioned this friend of my husband's who started writing to me out of the blue about three years ago, decades after we d'aed.

  last august i wrote to her about the arc and jackson's summons.

  i gave her the website details so she could see for herself.

  XAN - Imteresting experience. Honestly, I don't think your friend is either smart or honest enough to realize what the ARC is even about. It had nothing to do with "a few bad apples." It had everything to do with the fact that the INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSE by Watchtower regarding abuse SUCKS.

  Personally, I expect this return to Jehovah nonsenseto get worse. Not only is there the booklet, but also the recent broadcasting episode.

  I haven't been in a KH in over a year, and all of a sudden, folks we're not even close to at the KH are asking my wife "how I am" (my wife still attends, with great displeasure. Family stuff)
